I’m looking forward to catching up with many of you at our upcoming Barclay Picnic on Friday 24 February from 6pm – 9pm on the Great Court. When you arrive, look for the appropriate balloon colours to identify the location of your Year level.
Balloon colours will be as follows:
- Kindy Pink (of course)
- Pre-primary Pearl blue
- Year 1 Purple
- Year 2 Orange
- Year 3 Midnight blue
- Year 4 Green
- Year 5 Red
- Year 6 Yellow
For those who have ordered hampers, (please refer to last weeks’ Wyvern for details) you will be able to pick these up from the cafe area at 6pm.
Also, I would just like to remind parents that you are responsible for your children’s safety. With this in mind we request that all children avoid going on to the oval or using the play equipment. A disco, face painting, ice cream van and coffee van will be available on the evening. The face painting is being run by senior girls in the SRC and will be charging $2. The money raised will be going the charity of their choice. Glow sticks will also be available for a gold coin donation. Any money raised will go towards the purchase of science equipment for the Junior Years.
The undercover parking will be open for parents to use.
